We had Alexanders 2nd birthday party on Saturday and the weather couldn’t have been better, not a cloud in the sky and 25 degrees. We were worried for a bit because both the bbqs were occupied when we got there but at closer observation the recently migrated Asian group didnt want to put their meat straight on the bbq so they had sent someone to get alfoil. I asked them kindly if they wouldnt mind if I started on my cooking whilst they waited, to which they were happy to oblige. To their surprise and shock I put the meat straight on the hot plate. I explained to them its all good, bit of sticking meat isnt the end of the world. They ended up bailing to another park, heh.
Kimmy put together another awesome cake which everybody loved (thanks Kimmy!), double stacked green mud cake, with a licorice train track with Thomas and James ontop. (Phillipe accidently threw out the last piece of cake that Fi had saved for me
I was really looking forward to it, but I forgave him, I will however remember this forever, it was really tastey cake)
Alex enjoyed his bbq lunch, he loves his silly sausages
Fiona organised the food perfectly! Everyone got a good feed and there was little wasted.
Phillipe managed to get him self some crazy ass burger together…

All in, all a good day, didn’t get alot of photos but I have plenty of video which I’ll put up a bit later this week
This day also marked Fiona and I’s 10 Year Anniversary. Happy Anniversary Buns, I love you!
Brendan
